I've got a planted 58 gallon tank that has got some ick since I've introduced 3 small clown loaches. There are about a dozen amano shrimp, a cherry barb, a few otos and a big ole SAE (yes, a real SAE). This is the first ick breakout that I've had in about five years so I'm wondering what my best options/meds are (outside of still doing some water changes) to help improve things. I know salt isn't good with my plants but I have mostly anubias nana and java fern which seem very hardy. Also, is salt or any meds OK with the scaleless clowns?

Thanks for input.

Clown loaches appreciate a higher than normal water temp. The other fish you have except for maybe the cherry barb, which I am unsure about, as well as the shrimp, will be fine at the elevated temps. I would suggest trying 84*F, and as to the salt and quantity, slowly add in a total of 1/2 cup for every 10gal of water.
