Instead of buying Drs.Foster and Smith's $379 fully automatic CO2 system, I'd like to convert their cheaper $119 semi-automatic CO2 system into an automatic one by adding a pH controller. You can get Milwaukee SMS 122 pH controllers off Ebay for about $90. For a 125g tank, would this idea make the semi-automatic system just as good as the automatic one?
