I heard about a situation in Iraq where a battalion leader couldn't figure out how insurgents were a step ahead of them at every juncture.
It finally turned out they were being tracked via RFID tags in a common food product that were inserted into packaging as part of a promotion/contest of some kind. Nice to know that a can of coke in your hand can make you a target!
