I have an empty 10 gal. and I'm planning on making it a ghost shrimp tank. So, here are some questions...
What kind of food should i feed them?
Should the tank have lots of plants and structures, or moderate stuff...and...
How many should i put in?? A like things on the conservative side :D
Thanks,
John

ghost shrimp eat a variety of things, i feed them (everything) in my 10g bloodworms occasionally (they can eat those in a matter of seconds), wafers fro cories, shrimp pellets (oddly enough they're eating their cousins  ) and pretty much anything else that falls to the ground. there should be some type of spawning mop as i'm sure you would end up getting males and females like java moss or something. also, a place to hide would be nice especially if you consider putting in fish later on. umm you could do atleast about 10-12 of them in a 10g. if you want to increase your numbers faster, select shrimp with green eggs (females), thus the spawning mop comes into use. http://www.thepufferforum.com/articles/other/ghostshrimp.html
