In general, they are all kinda shy, but we really need more info. How big is your aquarium and howmuch are you willing to spend?
now theres a question that will remain unanswerable.......their all different kinda like humans......
My friend recently got a rubber pleco. It hid for the first few days, and now it's always out. My common pleco is always out. That is probably when he was in my old little tank, there were absolutly no hiding spots for him.
