Hi, remember me???
http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77664
Anyway, now our pleco is acting bizarre. He's just kinda floating, tail towards the top, not attached to anything. He also swims upside down and is just generally acting weird. I thought it may have something to do with our water problem, so I was going to just put him in a big tupperware bowl of fresh water, but when I went to get him with the net, he started swimming around pretty briskly. Now, it looks like he's "panting" or breathing heavily, I don't know what to do with him. He's by far our favorite fish, and we don't want to lose him. We have nothing we can use as a hospital tank and we, again, are out of our depth.
Any advice? Help? Anything?
Last water change was 50% the day of my thread above, so what, 4 days ago, and we're heading out to get a water test kit right now. We're also going to do another water change today, even though the water is much more clear than before. He's in a 55 gallon tank with 4 small neon tetras and 1 kissing pink gourami.
