Hi, i want to get a scooter blenny but I am not too sure about whetyher I should wait for my tank to mature some more. It has had fish in now for roughly 5-6 weeks and has now got quite a lot of copepods about and algae. Should i wait or does this sound ok for one as I'm pretty sure they are difficult to feed. Thx in advance.

Welcome to Aquaria Central! I would wait till your tank is 6 months plus. A Scooter Blenny or Mandarin will delete the copepod population in no time, so is best to add them when you have TONS and generally you won't get that before 6 months.
