Is it feasible to keep any types of ciclids in a 20G? what are my options? I have a spare tank lying around and keep seeing the ciclids at my LFS and am intrigued. . .

I will be able to upgrade to a larger tank in the future but for now this is all I can do.

Which sites have a good overview of ciclids?

Educate me, please.

in my 20 long i have 2 pairs of Apistogramma, a dwarf pike, juv. lemon spot pleco, and some dither fish (black neons). it works well, no one has shown any agression or any problems with each other. but if you want big fish, then a firemouth is a pretty choice. some kribs, sajica, rams, there might be a few others that i can't remember at this moment.

I was thinking of multiple fish, instead of just one larger species. . .

A colony of Tanganyikan shellies would work well if you are interested in Africans.

an option could be some dwarf cichlids like rams, or apistogrammas, i had breeding blue acaras in my 20g long but they just terrorized each other and almost killed each other. breding convicts are very nice in a 20g also, or a firemouth.
