Obviously one is coral reef and the other is not. But other than that, what are the differences? pros/cons? harder than other?

I notice some fish are not reef compatible. why is that?

mainly, the difference between the two is the stocking, equipment, maintenance routine..It is not really a point of which is harder than the other...Its more a point of how much effort you want to put in to it, the ammount of research your willing to do..Oh, and cost !!!!

Some fish and inverts are not Reef safe because they like to munch on corals...And the whole idea of a reef is the coral keeping and fish in harmony...

Hope that helps a little..
