Most Reliable Test Kit??

I'm currently using the Aquarium Phanmacuticals liquid master test kit, and thier alk. test as well. I've noticed however, that often times the results from my test, the LFS's test, and a buddy's test are different. At times, the differance on my NO3 is over 60ppm between the lowest and highest. Is there a more dependable test on the market that is not too outlandishly priced?? Are the dry tabs perhaps a bit more dependable? Any thoughts in this area are greatly appreciated.

Well, you might not find them in many LFS, but Salifert test kits have a great reputation! LaMotte and Hach are also good high-end tests, but I've heard that they are more difficult to use.

I've been using Salifert exclusively for a while now, and I'll never switch back to the cheaper tests found at most stores. :)
