Boy am i going to get a lot of hate over this lol
I decided to let my only 2 cherry shrimp out of the breeder tank i was holding them in and put them in the planted tank which has baby mollies and 2 ghost shrimps..

Right away when i put them in they scattered and were getting used to their new big home. One little red guy tried making friends and maybe getting a girlfriend at the same time, so he kindly came up to one of the ghosties and proceeded to sweet talk her.

Their conversation went on for hours and hours

But just as he stopped to catch his breath, little did he know it would be his last..

Moral of the story.. Dont sweet talk girlfriends who have mean boyfriends

i always thouth cherries and ghost shrimp got along. good to know. i know ghost shrimp are more predatory than other shrimp. now im gonna just stay clear of them.

My cherries and Amanos are fine in a tank together. I was wary of adding ghosties to my invert tank, their long arms will grab anything.

Serves him right... never mess with another Man's girl. Or another woman's girl? Wait, how do you sex a ghost shrimp?

lol I dont know. I got 2 shrimps they were about same size. One outgrew the other and became more of a predator so for me he was the male.. the other is more timid and calm like a female :silly: but a while back i did see some tiny green eggs on the Big one so my male could be one confused shrimp.

But I wouldnt trust the ghost shrimp with anything thats equal or smaller size than them, especially if that other fish is slow moving. My ghost enjoyed when my molly gave birth picking on the scared and confused fry.
