He wants to only sell to seriously interested hands instead of a person who just wants them because they like the color or because they are rare...

I think thats a very good idea since zebras are very rare here in US and letting them die in a novices hands would be a foolish idea..

I only sell zebras to folks who I am pretty sure are interesting in breeding them and have the fishkeeping experience to do so. This fish is likely to become extinct in the wild when Brazil goes ahead with dam projects which will likely destroy their only habitat.

I only sell them in lots for the same reason.

Hi Two Tank! How's the sales goin? This past fall I seriously considered trying to breed the zebras because they are endangered, such a huge investment though:(. Decided to gather up some sidthimunki's which are also endangered and give it a go!

I have sold all the zebras I had that were of sufficient size. I have a waiting list for fish. I do have more growing out but I estimate the waiting time for new names on the list to be at 6 months or more.

I still have lots of bn available and will now ship again. However, they are an inexpensive fish and it makes little sense to pay shipping for fewer than 6.
