My daughter has Skyrim and has run into something she can't figure out, so I was hoping someone here would know what to do.

It's the Esbern glitch. She can't hear what he's saying and he wont stop talking.

Apparently it is important to say it is the season unending quest on PC, not just the door thing.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about...please let me know LOL!

Just thought I'd add in case she worries about it. As far as I know, Using the console commands does not affect achievements.

My girls play on the xbox but some google searches uncovered a program to download or some say just leave and come back a couple of times and it works sometimes. Or you can just skip the quest and wait for a possible patch.
 
The description of the video I posted says to use the console and type "setstage mq302 300"
 
YAY! Yes, Zaf that was exactly what she was looking for THANK YOU! She has been trying to do this for about 2 weeks now and looked at so many different things but none were what she needed, lots of "skip over it" kind of things which she didn't want to do, she said thank you b/c this was something that had her ready to just kill herself (in the game, not RL). You are now her hero :)

Yeah, she kept having stuff tell her those things also...she was getting so mad, lol!!
