How many times a day should I feed my fish ?
Used to feed them once. Now I try twice or three times but smaller portions.
I also have one day a week when keep lights off and don't feed at all.
Please feel free to give your input and your feeding frequency.
Thank you!

I feed once a day and randomly once a week I won't feed at all. Also, I never feed the amount suggested on the container.

My betta gets 2-3 pellets a day when he should get 2-4 twice a day. :screwy:

Curious about other peoples routines as well.

I feed my tank about a half hour after lights on in the morning. Just different flakes and maybe a shrimp pellet or two. I'm a light feeder. Before lights off I feed a few frozen/thawed bloodworms about 3 nights a week and at lights off is when I drop a few algae wafers or put some blanched zucchini in for my plecs/snails. I fast every Monday.

When I have fry it's a different story. They get fed 4 times a day and live foods at that. Lots of water changes to keep water clean because of the over feeding.

My fry need a constant supply of food, I feed 2x/day leaving the veggies in for them to munch on.

i feed my fish once or twice a day. I'll feed them a variety of dried foods including flakes and granuales. I feed them frozen food about once per week. I do also fast them about once per week. You could probably fast them for a few days, but I usually only do one.

I feed flakes & pellets once a day, algae wafers every other day, frozen brine shrimp/bloodworms once a week, and always leave one day a week for fasting. I've got a variety of fish in several different tanks, so the type of flakes, pellets, etc. varies, but the general feeding schedule is the same throughout all my tanks.
