Maybe during summer. Right now it is dropping down to freezing at night and I would not want to risk it. Most of my shrimp are quite red as well, especially the females.

yea waiting for summer is what i need to do. how many generations is safe to breed before you start seeing colors fade? I started out with 5 rcs and i now have ~100 and 10 (that i can see) have eggs.
well ive bred and sold over 300 and it started with 2 and that was 2 years ago and that pic i embedded was taken in may
Yeah, I just cull the discolored rcs. I started out with 6 different lines from across the U.S. so my interbreeding is minimal.
