I saw that Petco now carries double tail halfmoon plakat bettas and I just had to have one.

I rearranged my tanks and freed up a ten gallon. After much examination of many Bettas I finally decided on this guy:












He looks different when his picture is taken using the cameras flash but he looks more blue and red than gold in regular light.

His tank is filtered, heated, and cycled.

I also threw in a poll with this thread just for fun.

nice! The bettas at my local petco are mostly mediocre, I wish they were that pretty.

Very nice! are these guys the big ones I've been seeing at Petco? They looked so small for the cup they're in, I felt so bad for them. Can't remember the name unfortunately.
