whats up with pictus catfish every time i buy one i bring it home float the bag in the tank to climateties for 20mins or so and couple days later its got ich everytime had this happen water is good so is it me or are these cats just like that
 
I think they may already have the parasite. But what is the temp of your water. Because if you have low temp and they are used to 80 degree temp then floating them is somewhat of a mute point since that is what they are used to. There temp has to come down slowly.
 
temp is 80,could it be that they are caught wild i heard that nobody could breed them is that why they are so skiddish
