Is this a full stock for a 30 gallon?

We are currently in the process of setting up a 30 gallon tall tank that is an upgrade to our 20 long.

Current stocking in the 20 gallon:

5 glass catfish
7 harlequin rasboras
1 long-fin albino BN
1 male swordtail
1 glofish
3 otos

Planned to add once upgraded:
3 rasboras
2 otos

We're wondering if this stocking will fill up a 30 tall. Will we have room to add anything else? (We will not be buying more glofish as this guy is our last remaining out of 6 and we're over them at this point.)

More details, if they make a difference in this: Filter on the 30 will probably be an AquaTech 30-60, if not two, as we already have them laying around, and it'll be planted with Eco-complete capped potting soil.

Thanks!

I suck so bad at these threads but don't wanna leave you hanging. I don't think it'll be too much. The best way to tell is to just look at the tank and watch the fish since you've already got them. Do they look cramped?

Also what's your filtration? You can usually "over stock" a community tank as long as you filtered 10x plus per hour and keep an eye on water parameters to keep up on proper water changes. Got an API master test kit?

I think that the fish you have in the 20 is already a large amount, and it may not be a good idea to add more when you get the 30.

The ottos will like the extra company. The rasbora school doesn't absolutely need the extra three, but I think it would make the school nicer. However, then you would be quite full on your stocking. As long as you filtered well and were diligent with water changes, it could work. I would definitely not do anything else.

You've already got enough fish for a 30 without adding any more. But I agree with esoepr1976 - if you're going to add anything else, you don't need more rasboras, but your otocinclus would like the company. They're happiest in schools of 7+. Meantime, I've had a school of 5 rasboras that have been happy and healthy for three years now.

If you haven't yet tried it, aqadviser.com offers a really nice bioload calculator that takes into account filtration, tank shape, and etc., and gives you feedback on compatibility and recommended school size. Their advice runs to the conservative side on stocking, but it's a very useful tool.
