My wife came home from the lfs with a arts and I tested ammonia and nitrates and they are fine. I do have an 8.0ph but it is a constant Ph for the tank. Also the temp in the tank is 70f in the tank. After acclimating the fish which did fine but when I put him in the tank he swims in the middle of the tank and not at the bottom. From time to time he will go to the bottom. What gets me worried is that he will sometimes swim in the middle to upper part of the tank with his nose angled down but not at a 90 degree angle.
I also have a 20 gallon long
My tank dwellers are
6 rosy reds
6 plain guppies
2 small SAE's
Substraight is gravel
Plants 2 swords, some grass and some limestone
Is there anything I need to worry about, I know the Ph is a little high but I don't think that's it.
