Yeah I agree with you completely. I should have been more clear. What I meant to say was that I have ever seen even a small amount of aggression from any gourami in that tank and that's what led me to believe they were ok together. I definitely agree and know that a stock tank in a LFS is not a guideline for what can be kept together. Just hadn't seen any aggression with over 30 of them in that 50g.

Oh, I see your point now. It may be that there are so many fish in the store tanks that none of them can really establish a territory, so aggressive behavior is temporarily minimized. I'm not into aggressive fish but I think that's how it works.
