Hello I was wondering if anyone has any experience with decorating a reef tank with pottery I was watching a National Geographic Special on shipwrecks and I want to know what type of pottery might be suitable that would not leach anything harmful into the tank.

Thanks

Unpainted clay pots are fine. Not a pottery person but anything similar should be fine as well.

:iagree: anthing without paint. You may wanna make sure that its real clay and not synthetic. Iv seen pots that were fake clay and Im not sure if that will leach harmful chemicals into your water. It may be a good Idea to throw it in the oven after you buy it for a little while. Probably a low setting like 350. Or try and boil it if you have a big enough pot. Just my 2 cents for what its worth...good luck
