I keep searching and I keep seeing that they can tolerate a wide range of conditions. Well, that's nice but what is IDEAL? I'd like to know what I should be aiming for.

Unchanged, I have: 3° dKH/53.7ppm, 6° dGH/107.4ppm, 6.6 pH.

Also would like to know if ghost shrimp can be kept with them.

I think they say wide range because for some people it's hard to kill them even with a bad tank/water chemistry. They really don't have an ideal because they are still researching these guys. I would bet they would try and eat the ghost shrimp.

One of my marmokrebs is berried! I'm excited about that. I really need to get a bigger tank. I'm dosing a small bit of baking soda and Kent's liquid calcium to the water, as well as providing a variety of protein and calcium rich foods.
