New 135g shopping cart help

No doubt lighting will be on the high side but no reason to back off. you can use any old light for fish only and save up for a fixture or wait for a good used one to pop up.

Another 72" option which has 8 bulbs...

You could also do a 60" if you can suspend it up off the water. This would be a great light. Note that no bulbs come with this...

Other option is to build a canopy and use some T5 retrofit kits or looking into a halide setup.

Yeah I guess I could start slow. The difference between live rock and a reef is just adding coral to the live rock correct. If that's how it works then I could easily transition.

I'll look into building my own. I'll try and find some how to's or something. Feel free to link any DIY T5 references you have. I don't mind buying the bulbs and stuff over time.

Is halide that different in price? I think I read that halide is just more focused light.
