I have a 90g that I just revamped.
It had: 1 angel, 5-6 loaches, 6 bloodfins, 3 female bettas, 1 rainbow shark
Last week I added 6 more bloodfins and this past weekend I added 6 quarter sized angels (all healthy from what I can see). Last night I hooked up my CO2 to my powerhead and I had it going about 1 bubble every 4 seconds. I also added a piece of driftwood a few days ago. Those are the only recent changes.
This morning I woke up and the angel I've had for at least 5 years was dead in the tank.
So I quickly did a water test and the results were:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
ph 6.6
The fish didn't look sick - no spots, no fuzz, no funny behavior, etc. Any theories? I'm worried about my other fish.
RIP Angel!
