I agree with you on some of the quietness of certain players...Most likely they'll say they've been busy and haven't been around to post...We all know how suspect that excuse is...I also agree with you about CS...The joking isn't there as ususal....

What's your take on my comments about mee-mee and the lack of usual roleplay...I almost want to say the same with Swayde...I know they started up with it a little while ago, but I'd have to check old games to see how early they got started before. I almost feel like their first posts used to be like that....

I found humor in it too, the part I found odd was the length you went with the "I'm confused", that's all. I do agree that the lack of roleplay this time is curious. Something even more curious to me about Swayde this time is that the style is distinctly different. Anyone remember post or vote analysis from her in the past? Maybe trying too hard to appear helpful.

Also, as Ice pointed out... Where is Z with his usual analysis (maybe "there's not enough to analyze on day 1).

Lots of maybes as always, but I think we may have some good first impressions on a coupla folks.

Meet Charlie. Thirty two years old. A devoted resident of ACville Charlie waits patiently for the bad guys to make a mistake. They always do. These scumbags never seem to learn. Charlie knows resisting the evil in ACville means risking all. These are odds Charlie is used to.

Not alot on this first day, a little smoke being blown around here and there, i will turn over a few stones and see if there is any scum underneath. Jpap lack of posting is suspicious. Mee Mee looks to be cracking under the pressure. Anyone blowing any smoke at me looks suspicious, but probably only to me.

I'm here. The wifes been running me ragged this weekend but I'll be on more tonight. I have been popping in and out to observe the goings on, which are interesting. A lot of fur flying over semantics and a good bit of frustration held over from last game are my first observations. We need to all be able to let past roles go in order to play the current game.

Three points I want to make.

1) Mee-Mee said a few posts back that Ice and myself were following and playing off one another... I can pull the exact post if needed, but basically this is rubish. I posted early yesterday with a few clarifying points and some basic deductions, I've had no read on either MM or Ice, and when I read that post it struck a nerve.

2) ewurm: I don't see how you can jump in on your first post with a vote, then many posts later show up with an explanation after everyone questions your motives. I don't like jumping on newbie trains as they usually leave me stranded in the station, but that wreaks of newbie Mafia play.

3) RE: On jpappy and GGF. Yes I wish they would hurry up and post something, anything, but I won't place a vote this early on a vacant player. Come tomorrow however that could very well change. Are one of these two Dr. Gene? I doubt it, but one could very well be an Evil. I have a feeling GGF wouldn't know how to play an evil very well and might need pointers from teammates.

I'll "Go Fish" and Vote to genetically test ewurm.

ewurm, I'd like more meat to your votes and more direction to your posts. If you have opinions please share, it's day one and things aren't clear to anyone but the Evils. Focus.

This is my 4th game, last game I was really busy with my son's birthday and getting school started (I home school him) and I was voted out first day so never even really had a chance to play. The WW game I was the Seer and couldn't keep it a secret, but people did enjoy my lists so I figured I'd keep them up. The first game I went through a lot of changes in my playstyle as I learned the game and tried to figure out what works and what doesn't work and it seems roleplaying isn't such a great idea because you get accused of being unhelpful or people nitpick to find minor mistakes and lynch you for it, see last game.

DC, I think there's usually a lot more roleplaying going on, but I wouldn't make any assumptions on someone solely on that. It appears not to be the thing this game, although I wouldn't mind the entertainment, myself. Too bad RB didn't give us suggestions again. Maybe everyone was afraid to get JL's vote, lol.

Plantling has just read in the ACville Journal that a blueish cloud is hovering on the outskirts of town. When that poor Dolly sheep was cloned, plantling knew it was a modern miracle, but was also afraid of the consequences should the technology be used by the wrong people, people with sinister plans. Now on the outskirts of her beloved home town, an underground testing facility has been recently discovered where those sinister people had been busy plotting against all mankind. Now these evil scientists are hiding in ACville and the only way to prevent them from succeeding in their evil ways is to weed them out. Plantling makes flyers and posts them around town urging all townies to be responsible and to report at the town square often and share any suspicions they may have on anyone. Those that are too quiet will be looked on with disfavor if not blatant suspicion.

Thanks for the explanation, I didn't play the WW game so that could be why they are so "new" to me. Still suspicious, but then again everyone is right now and there are better suspects at this point. I retract my vote to genetically test Swayde.

this bothers me, like King is thinking, this is very like last game where Ice is coming ourt and posting defenses where no one even questions.... seeming to defend out of no where. Why bother if no one asks?

Is there a holiday in CT that goes this weekend? Would have been a good protection plan..... but now you've posted that "oops, the holiday was last weekend in a later post..."

hmmmm.... and now HN.... who tries using the "she's confused" tactic on Swayde... Seems to be a strong argument but reason for voting her is weaker than typical reasons HN has during these games. Picking at straws to raise/manipulate everyone else's suspicions? In one thought, Sway is questioned on her lists which she has been doing in all games, it's typical sway and then another thought asks for Z's usual analysis. If they both do the same things, why is Sway chastised for using the list? I guess I am not as sold on Sway enough to place a vote for her.

I am not understanduing the vote on Swayde other than you not playing in the ww game.... care to elaborate?

Just noted, that vote was retracted from Sway now.....

This is the case, I am trying to get comfortable, but Mee Mee worried me with previous posts. There is also the undeniable urge to jump on a bandwagon, which protects yourself, but I have to say that I am by far most suspicious of Mee at this point. That suspicion is not firmly founded however, and I reading every post for more info.

Sure. I voted for Swayde because as I stated, I was (and am) concerned that a train is forming on mee-mee which will allow people to hide without giving reasons or thoughts of their own. Do you have any suspects other than those of us that are trying to gather any information and reactions that we can?
