My octopus

i just got an Octopus about 3 weeks ago from my work. we had ordered it for a guy but it turned out he had never even owned an aquarium before so we said we couldn't sell it until he was better educated and experienced...well after some reading he decided it wasn't a good pet for himself so it had no home. i have always loved challenging pets and have drawn up plans for an octotank before so i decided to take him. currently he is in a 12 gallon Via Aqua "all in one " tank sealed, running chemipure, an extra pump, and a wood air stone that pumps micro bubbles out form the output from the filter spray bar. he gets 2 small water changes a week and i am feeding him hermit crabs, ghost shrimp, krill, and silversides. he has been deemed the name pickles...i was told it was a Caribbean two spot but its looking like its actually a Bimac from further studies. anyway here are the best pictures i can get at the moment. and yes he will be moved to a 40 gallon setup onece he starts growing more....i have it all planned.:dance:

lol tomorrow ill try to get some better pictures along with my updated other two tanks. i have given him some Legos to play with and a floating ball. he seems to like the Legos but not the ball so far. ill try for some feeding pictures and a video if i ever have time between work and life. his body is about 1.25 inches and his longest tentacles are about 3 inches.
