Can you guys tell me what kind of filter this is, I mean model and maker. I am making a tank and am trying to save money anywhere possible, and have this in the attic, just need to know what kind of media it takes. Thanks!

An old Whisper...? You should be able to cut sponges to fit if nothing else.

Well, as of right now thats whats in the intake tube. Is it worth it? I need a filter for my upcoming breeding tank.

yah, well, it doesn't have media. And I dont know what kind of sponge to use, I tried sea sponge, but if it was in the filter it has no suction, and no flowing water, so Idk, if anyone knows if they still have media, that is ccooooolio

I'd stuff it with some filter floss or cut a block of coarse sponge to fit and be done with it.
