Thinking of starting a cichlid tank, need help!!!

Before you buy anything, what are the dimensions of the tank?
 
Off the top of my head I'm not sure but it's a cornor tank with two sides and a bow front
 
Okay so I measured it and it's two sides are 24 inches and the hieght is 22 inches, i've never measured it after I bought it but the guy told me it was a 35 gallon but I used a online tank calculator and it said my tank was 43 gallons is that right?
