Ok I went and had purchased a betta awhile back from the walmart I work at. Well I got it cuz I thought it looked nice. All all red with a whitish clear edge on the tail.
Well I had decided to put im with my dwarf tilapia's I had they were considered push overs I was told to keep them solo buy the distributer I got them from since they would get pushed around. Well I put the betta in and they left each other alone so I figured sweet Ill leave him in there. Well I went to work came back and found the betta behind a rock when it came out he looked fine well I left him in there still following day after work he was not the same guy. Had his fins eaten off but besides that he was fine.
I placed him back in the cup he came in then he got his own 5gal tank to himself. Well the tilapia's got into it while I was at work and one died so I put the tilapia in the 5gal and the betta in a 20H tank with a single L-144 I got from Debbi. Now the betta is looking better then ever fins started growin back while in the 5gal still growing although very slowly now. This is him now.
Well here is a view of my 20Gal anubia garden with the betta. Rough start but happy ending.
