1000 g plywood acrylic in wall with lounge room

I think the tank will be setup & decorated on the floor
Will be simple sand & driftwood mainly

then hoisted up & the stand put under, then filled.

It will be very difficult to put or remove large items once in place.

More Pics

The North wall, & the stairs..

The tank will not actually be that close to the I beam, but I wanted to leave extra room, in case I need to raise the tank a few inches. The opening is 99x51 & the tank face will be 98x40...

For those who care, the stair wall is a floating wall, does not actually touch the floor to allow the stairs to flex.

Also, The electrical is done, there are outlets in the room, as well as in the tank area.

Tank are has two separate 20amp GFCI protected circuits, my electrician buddy made sure I was protected.

I uesd to hang drywall for a living and still don't understand why some people hang it the way you are ?

Anyways, can't wait for more progress pics !

Looking great! That's going to be quite the view you have once it's all setup. What are you going to hoist the tank in place with? An engine hoist?

What way is that? Standing on end, instead of lengthwise? Just curious...

I was going to ask the same thing about the drywall.
This should be very interesting when it is done
