First pic got a wow outa me!
I actually like the light substrate, seems to reflect the light well and not look all shadowy(like mine!lol)

The substrate is a mix of pool filter sand and Flourite. The Flourite does have a tendency to migrate to the top of the sand over time, but I regularly blast the sand with a turkey baster mixing everything together again.
