Lots of live food options on AquaBid

I know, but I like to support folks here first. I figured I go there if there was no one here. Plus, AC members tend to be more generous, as we lean more towards the 'hobby' side of aquaria, rather than the 'business' side. Better quality and quantity.

Amen.

LMAO! Crays are your solution to everything, Bubbles. :p:

Oh, your grandma's sick? Crayfish.
Your grades are bad? Crayfish.
You have too many crayfish? Crayfish.

:p:
Well what can I say. You caught me!

As crazy as the crays idea sounds I tried to introduce cherry shrimp into my community tank fearing the aggressive german blue ram would be the biggest problem. The shy little peacock Gudgeon was the first to rip that shrimp into pieces. I felt horrible for the shrimp and haven't tried introducing them into the tank again.

I'm not positive as I've never looked for live food, but there's beyond the reef in bloomsburg and they probably carry some sort of live food. I used to buy live brine in hazleton, keep it in a tupperware container in the fridge, then scoop i out with a net and rinse it and feed it. You can be enrich the brine with your own blend of foods this way and make them more nutritious.

I LOVE Beyond the Reef! The owners are great people. He does have live brine shrimp, and I plan on getting those once in a while too.

Cage - n - Tank in hazleton has live black worms. I feed them to my calvus, kilesa, and my eels. The love them. When I had a community tank I also fed them black worms and it seems most fish can eat them. Even my rams and apistos were able to fit them in.
