Ctenopoma and African Knife Pickup

Hey all. I went on a picture frenzy with the new African fish which came in the mail a few days. Here are the results. Also a couple of older pics I have taken.

New fish: 5 Leopard ctenopoma, African knife. Both purchased special-order from TNT Aquatica. Thanks TNT Aquatica! :D

Old fish: BN pleco, blind cave tetras, butterfly goodeids (now sold), male and female bettas

Tanks: 5 gallon nano frog tank, 2 1/2 gallon betta tanks, 25 gallon semi-aggressive community, and 90 gallon African swamp biotope.

Thanks. The betta doesn't look quite that good anymore after his bout with fin rot, but he is still beautiful. :) I had a heck of a time photographing my Ctenopoma because they are only 1 1/2 inches and are speedy little fellows.

Love your tanks dude! I wanna rope fish, too bad I'm under the stupid 55 gallon limit with my parents. Wish I had cool parents like you!
 
Nice fish! I've always wanted to get a ctenopoma.

lol. The tank was a freebie, otherwise my parents wouldn't have let me :) . Plus (as you can see) we have a large unfinished basement, so I am not intruding on the "family space"...unlike the corner tank I was going to put in the living room. The 25 gallon was my first tank, after 6 months of research of course. ;)
 
Hahahaha, I got my 30 Amazon as a freebie after I did a science fair project with goldfish from my teacher. Then I saved up $287 and got the Biocube 8, now I want a 125 for a Motoro, but this stupid limit is gettin' in the way. They always say, "Once you move out you can do whatever you want!" Hahaha, I can't wait. :)
