My poor little guy has a huge lump on his hood. This was not like this when I was observing him durring breakfast.
He has been hiding under his rock for the past several days, pH is just a touch under 7.6 and the salinity (hardness GH?) is under his liking at 655, salt has been slowly added at 2tbsp per day. Beethoven prefers it in the +100x10.
Since he has moved into his 75 gallon he has been showing his tubulers every tank change. His hood has been growing so nice and even (i adopted him a year and 2 months ago) he never grows the white spots like his friend Joule, our red cap. Is this just hood growth on a rampage or should I be making a mad dash to the vets with him first thing in the morning?
Thank you for any help you guys have on the situation. I will try to send a picture of his lump.
