To the OP if you get the largest amano the store has it might be ok. I have kept GBR with amano before and they were fine, but the amano is large.
But if your algae is bad enough no shrimp or fish will clear it up, they can only eat so much

mine goes crazy on the stuff.i actually move some wood back and forth into his tank when it gets coated in the stuff.he devours it overnight.different strokes for different,uh fish?
