So I was just about to buy this light (http://www.fishneedit.com/t5ho-24quot-2-lamp-aquarium-l.html) from fishneedit when I came across this little guy.

It's a 24" 2x65 Watt Current USA PowerCompact Dual Satellite Fixture. Its only $30 while the fishneedit one was a littler over $60 after shipping. Will this Current USA light work well for a planted aquarium? I am planning on growing Glosso and probably some Dwarf Harigrass and I know if the Glosso doesn't get enough light, it just grows up and I don't want that to happen. Also, would it fit on a 10g tank that is only 20inches long?

I will have DIY CO2 going for a while and once I get the funds I was planning on getting a little bit bigger of a tank (24" so the light will fit normally) and then a small pressurized CO2 system.

Anybody else ever used this light for their planted tank before? I kinda want to hear more about it before I just go out and buy it.
I had a 2x 96W on a 58 gal for quite a while, its a great fixture but the fan is a bit noisy. That fixture will be far too much light for your ten gal no matter what plants or co2 you use.Maybe if you use just one of the bulbs it wouldnt be too excessive but you are still gonna have over 6wpg which is a huge amount to justify.
