I can't use a mesh or net. Falling coconuts.:screwy: There's no guarantee I could keep my pond "parasite"-free. I label frogs, etc parasites.:irked: And I am DETERMINED to keep all my fry alive.
My dad had a talk with me over my collegiate graduation gift. I finally resolved to myself to discuss with him FIRMLY my goldfish fry need a bigger pond soon to be located in my yard. He looked at me for a few seconds and finally gave in without hesitation.
I'll have a few more ponds built up if I can manage more time and space.
Edit: Never mind. Post cut off because of blonde moment.lolol
Yeah...A few peeps asked me how on earth coconuts are a threat. Sigh...Just look at the golden coconut tree we have. It is loaded with over 50 coconuts threatening to fall anytime. It already damaged a doghouse by smashing the metal roof until it was beyond repair.:22_yikes: The dog had passed away a few years ago and we just hadn't moved the doghouse until last month.
well the 2 remaining goldie babies have moved up into a 20 gallon, they have little fantails now and are turning a bronze colour and arent quite so see through. 1 is a bit bigger than the other, but both seem ok so far
