New fish Tomorrow!

Well here are a few pictures as promised. Sorry, crappy camera....and I am photography challenged. The orange hatchets are too fast for me and my camera, but let me tell you they are simply stunning (I may have to keep those). The green fire tetra and dwarf golden barb are starting to get their colors. The rams are coloring up nicely. I received something I didn't order.....5 - 3/4" Nicaraguaneses. Which look pretty good. The silver hatchets seem very nervous to me, but are doing ok so far. They all look a little thin to me. So a week or two of fattening up will happen before any are offered up. I have to tell you, I ordered 50-100 of each and the most of one species I got was 36. Fortunately, I did not have to prepay so I was only responsible for what I received. But this means limited supply this go round. I did order marble hatchets and a few came in, but none survived the night. If anyone is interested.....man is this super stressful. Without further ado.......

EXTREME JEALOUSY...no one around here can get Bolivian Rams....Soooo if you want to sell off a pair of them at any point in time I think i might know a potential buyer :D

you know, I typically feed anti-parasitic medicated flake the first 3 days at least. It really seems to be helping my survival rate. Might be somethign to consider. I am not one to throw chemicals at healthy fish, but the stress can really get them vulnerable.

Thank you for the idea. I have some here, just in case for the discus. I will give them some for the next couple of days. I had considered using Jungle Parasite Clear, but like you, hate using a bunch of chemicals if they are not absolutely necessary.

I am hoping to. I am on the other side of the state. I will have to wait and see if my husband can get the time off as he is working out of town. Making the trip by myself with a 4 and 8 year old would be a pain. I may do it though, if he is still out of town.

I hope you can! I would love to buy them at that point but if not i would just regularly order them.

Sorry to hear you had so many issues with this order. Live and learn though! I bet the next one goes much smoother.
