Just found out they have a 37 on sale for the price of a 29, figured I'd jump on that. Would it be possible to breed black moors in that? I figure I could have 3 and hope that I get both genders.

I would suggest a proven pair in a 37 if you want to give them room to breed. I have never had much luck with spawning in smaller tanks. Your plan of three isn't too far off the mark. General rule that I follow is a minimum of 20 for the first one and 10 for each one after per fancy if at all possible. I have successfully kept them at 10 per, but the water changes can get outrageous.
