What I've got today folks is a nice piece of Manzanita branch, with lots of small branches, that is affixed to a 6" square of black eggcrate. This piece has been carefully selected to create a tree that just reaches the surface of a standard 15 gallon tank. It has been preboiled, and then seasoned in a planted tank for over 3 months. It is easily weighted down by heavy substrate or a few small stones, as it no longer floats. The base plate is easily covered by an inch of gravel or sand.
Including the base plate, this is about 17" long and 11" tall, 10" wide.
And if that's not enough, this nice tree comes with enough java moss to completely cover the form, creating a big green canopy at the water's surface. The dense matt of moss is easy to set in place, and really shouldn't require tying, since it was initially grown on the tree itself. Set it and forget it! Perfect for raising small fry such as lampeyes or shrimp.
