I actually haven't seen anymore Harleys from my LFS (the better one at least.) and I think I have too many top-mid dwellers already (especially since the black neons love to school at the surface with the harleys.)

I'd personally ditch the serpaes and go with more harlies but maybe thats just me ;)

I would too. But my parents have this policy of not returning pets. :( I don't know, fish are a little different.

What loches would work in this setup? I like Kuhlis, but my mom would freak out if she saw a snake in my tank.

Y. Sidthimunki aka dwarf chain loach (jpappy has 'em) are cute, active buggers.

True... I saw some on sale for $9.99/each but had no place to put them!

So, today I stopped by the garden shop near me and I got Philodedron "Micans" (Philodedron scandrens micans). I placed it in one of my containers and put it on the opposite side of the pothos, that way, I can hide them behind the water sprite roots.

Pretty! I love the red blush.

A note of caution: I've read philodendron is toxic to pets if ingested & if the roots are broken, the sap could kill fish...

I enjoy the pictures at this site which help differentiate pothos from philodendron. http://aquamaniacs.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18059

Btw, I love how your pothos is growing up out of the water! I'll have to trim mine & see if I can get similar results...

Thanks! So far no problems from the pothos plants. But these Philos are new. They are separeted from the fish with the planter but hopefully nothing will happen.

And thanks!
