Some kind of red wound on my Endler. Need advice.

salt isn't a bad idea regardless. Costia is a possibility, though that typically increases mucus production and is evidenced by dullness/whiteness in patches. Having spoken to you, you have not added anything new, nor have any wild caught fish. I would advise to kick up that water change routine to dilute whatever is doing this until you can get a better grasp on what is going on. If I can, I will dig through my big book of fish creepy crawlies and see if I can come up with any ideas for you.

Thanks Rach! I did a really large 75% water change earlier today, and will do another one tomorrow. Hopefully the cause will show, but if not then I am hoping that maybe between the salt, water changes and anti-parasite food that maybe it will go away. I will keep you posted, and thanks for all the help. :)

Although it could parasitic, I m leaning toward bacterial/viral. I would use anti bacterial food rather than anti-parasitic food.

When I kept endlers from early 90's until 2005, I very rarely experienced problems although It wasnt easy to spot one infection out of thousand kept/bred in one 120 G Dutch Aquarium.
Since it was Dutch Aquarium, no salts were ever added but dont see any reasons not tot ry salt.

Anyway, Good Luck which ever way you choose to take!
