Here is the story which I believe not only happened to me...

A shrimp tank is needed for my daughter's school biology project.
A friend of mine referred me to AC and I made my first purchase
of the cherry red shrimps for $40. The seller e-mail'd me saying
he can include a little more java moss per my request but needed a
favor from me to send money as a gift to him to avoid Paypal's service
charge. And, sadly, that's what I did.
After sending the money, almost one month passed, my e-mails just
sink in the ocean, the seller simply disappears.

I contacted Paypal and they can not help due to the transaction was (1)
NOT an eBay deal, and (2) the money was sent as a gift.

I also sent an e-mail to AC administrator about this and so far no reply
from them either.

The seller's name is ******* and use "********" in AC.

This person also joins some other forums including international ones selling
plants.

The thing bothers me the most is that I can not post anything in the seller's AC Marketplace thread to warn others since it was closed by the seller...

So, is there any way a member can use to sound an alarm for this type of thing?

If you purchased from an ad on this site...you can leave marketplace feedback of a polite nature. Classifieds automatically close after 21 dyas.

I recommend never "gifting" for purchases on Pay Pal.

When you think about it...you've just sounded an alarm right here!

Thanks for saying something. I almost ordered Jungle vals from the guy :(

Closing thread..feedback should be by the appropriate method. Thanks!
