Hi everyone! I love this site and have reading a lot of informative posts that have been really informative. I decided to finally log back in and say hi.
This has been prompted by me and my son taking up fish keeping again (the last time I kept fish ended when he was a newborn - eleven years ago). We are going with fresh water and just looking to have fun.
We are cycling the tank (day 5) and have two mickey mouse platies and two kuli loaches (I am regretting that purchase for a couple of reasons - I have read they are supposed to be miserable in the current water conditions I have [high ph and hard water] - although I'm suspecting they haven't found out yet that they should be unhappy).
My son just loves sitting in front of the aquarium and I'm enjoying having something we're both excited about.
