Ok, so there's this 200 gallon, really old reef tank up at my grandpa's farm. It's got a bad seam, but other then that it's in perfect shape, it's just really really heavy and needs a good cleaning. It's been sitting unused in the barn for years, and ever since I got into fish I've wanted it desperately. My dad doesn't believe it can be fixed (but I know it can... I've filled the tank and it's just one bad seam) and doesn't want it. Anyways, I was on the phone with my grandma, (she breeds koi) and we got into a conversation about it. She said she's gonna try and get him to let me clean it up and use it!!! There's a really goid chance i'll get it. (Let's just say she's a very "persuasive" lady...) Well... Yeah, that's it lol... Just thought i'd share my excitement. :D

Probably convert it to freshy and put it in our basement. It'll probably have the new pleco I got, a rainbow shark, Bolivian ram's, and a clown loach or three on the bottom, and the top would probably have some angels, and a bunch of cherry barbs and rummynose tetras... Maybe more, but I can't think that big right now lol. It would be so awesome!!!

all except the strainers can be found at home depot. name brands will be different, though. oateys would likely be the name for the primer and cement for example.

hook one end into the aquarium and the other into a garden hose and time consuming, back breaking w/c's are a thing of the past.
