What bulb would be the brightest in an 18 in I have two fixtures and a deep tank.

Bulb brands could probably play a role in it but to me 10000k seems to be brightest visually, got nothing to back it up other then my experiences with several bulb types.
Thanks need new bulbs the ones in them are very old.

15 to 18 watt lamps can only be so bright. New will be brighter than old.
