Shipping Fish from Warm to Hot???

I wasn't sure where I should ask this at. My temps. are low 70s daytime and 50s at night. The person receiving the fish is around 93s and mid 60s at night. Should a cold pack be used? I was think since my temps. are cool wouldn't using a cold pack make the temperature in box be too cool for my location? The fish would be going from Maryland to New Mexico. The person wants to use Priority.
 
Tagging along since I have almost the exact scenario in front of me. What complicates it further is the temps. along the way. I'm shipping Express, but it's not that different.
 
What kind of fish?
 
I would ice pack them. Heat kills more fish in transit than cold. Or wait until things cool off there a bit. In either case try to have the buyer arrange to have the box held for pick up at the post office. Prevents it from riding around in a hot truck at least. And mark it well "LIVE GOLDFISH KEEP FROM HEAT" Even though they aren't really goldfish.
 
Start the fish at whatever temp you keep them at. You want to wrap the ice pack in a thick layer of newspaper to slow down the melt as much as possible. Any suitably sized cold pack will do.
