$50 for:

~20lbs of beautiful purple coraline covered rock
2 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
1 Serpent Starfish
1 Clownfish
A ton of Pulsating Xenia (very fast growing)
Snails/Hermits

I will try to post pics later. If you ask I can email you some.

I know this is a steal, but I have to move to NC soon and I need to quickly find a new home these guys. (This is for pickup only...please have all necessary buckets, etc)

I am definitly intersested. It is not much of a trip because i drift mostly from East hartford to New Britain. All i need to know is the past tank's specifics, ie what sized tank should i get for the new inhabitants collection and water quality etc. Enormous possiblilty so please respond qiuckly when you can.
This just might be my future dream tank!
Also, if ots not to much trouble, i need some specific info on the individual animals/corals. Thank you so much for this chance!

I would prefer that they be going to an established home. I've grown attatched and would hate to see them die in a tank that hasn't been cycled yet.

That is not too difficult to achieve, however what is your deadline?, so i can start to establish a prepared tank. By the amount of live rock, i'm estaimating that is good for a 10-30 gallon tank, correct?
Also, what were your lighting, feeding, and filtration routines?
Thank you.

It looks like I will need to have this stuff out in 2-3 weeks at the latest (not long enough for a cycle). Is your 90G SW tank established? The tank that they are in is a 12G nano-cube DX with PC lighting. I would recommend a bigger tank because the xenias are quickly filling up all the available rock surface and blocking the light for the rest of the tank. Maintaining a nano-reef is somewhat different then a larger tank. Check out some of the forums on www.nano-reef.com for some good reading. That said, I would really prefer that my creatures go to a well established, larger tank. Good luck with your tanks. :)

sorry then, thats too soon, but could you mention your original sources for the live rock and the xenia especially? if you want, i would try to put the offer into the Reminder if its in your area. This offer seemed to good to pass up but realizing this whole scenario would not work in the long run. I am also sorry to say that the 90 gallon is currently nonexistent :(

On a side note would you recommend a nano tank to a SW newbie (man i hate that term)?

Thanks anyway and the best of luck.

If its only a 12 gallon, i would try to move it myself down there if there are no other restictions (apartments etc). A good book that deals on moving your SW tank can be found in the Newington Public library (Lucy-Robins Welles branch) under the title of "500 Ways to be a better Saltwater fishkeeper" It really helps quite a bit in any area.

Any way, i'm sorry this could not work and also sorry if i have wasted your time but i wish you the best of luck and a happy move. :thm:
