Do you think i could fit 1 Blood Parrot and 1 Oscar in a 90 Gal tank?

yeah maybe if its only 1 blood parot

I would'nt put them together, I know you see it at petco all the time, the oscar will get really big and would stress the parrot out. Why not try a severum with a parrot?
I have 4 of each in my 150g

I have seen Oscar and BP in 75's work. With a 90 it would be better. It could work as far as needs go, as far as personalities that's a different story. You would be able to keep only 1 of each. You would need to add Silver Dollars, Giant Danios or other larger fast fish for dithers if needed. Giant Danios would be a better choice based on tanks size and SD would be better choice if kept in groups of 6, requiring a much larger tank.

I think you would be fine, not sure why dithers would be needed....dither fish are for shy timid fish...dithers are used to make fish feel more confortable with their surroundings..I think you folks mean target fish. Target fish are used to keep aggression focus on the target fish....in any case 90g is a good size tank for a BP and an Oscar.

No problem with the tank size - nice size in fact.

It will come down to the individual fish involved - they will decide whether they will share company or not lol.

Best option is probably to get them as young as possible - seems to be a better chance of a happy existence long term, rather than introducing grumpy old men to each other.

I have not seen blood parrots w/ oscars actually. I just herd its done. What would be a more suitable tank mate for the Blood Parrot? I see Severum, maybe? What else? I would like something Large. Also if its just tank size i could go up to 120, something like 60Lx18Dx24H
