Our Safeway store has aspergrass right now that's smaller around than a pencil. Saturday night we were at a friend's place, steamed a few bunches, added oil and balsamic, little pepper. We stood around his kitchen island with a loaf of French bread, a block of good smoked cheddar and the aspergrass in a big bowl and called that dinner
